The Saudi Water Academy (SW Academy) along with Paul Choules with Water Cycle and Tom Pankratz with WDR are hosting this three (3) day event in Jubail, KSA. The event will cover visits to SW Academy's facilities, the Water Technology Innovation and Advanced Research (WTIIRA) facilities, site visits to Jubail and Ras Al Khair desalination sites. Additionally, attendees will meet with SWCC supply chain experts and SWCC Global Prize Innovation in Desalination (GPID) specialists.

Draft Agenda:    

• Day 1, Monday 13th May 2024 – Arrive in Jubail, transportation to the hotel will be provided.

• Day 2, Tuesday 14th May 2024 – Introduction, tour SW Academy, tour WTIIRA, meet SWCC staff and technology review.

• Day 3, Wednesday 15th May 2024 – Visit Ras Al Khair desal plant and return to the hotel.

• Day 4, Thursday 16th May 2024 – Visit the Jubail desal plant. Return to SW Academy for lunch and depart in the afternoon

 

Location & Accommodation: 

Jubail and the Intercontinental Hotel Jubail.

Airport Transfers & Local Transportation: 

SW Academy will provide transportation to take attendees to and from the venues and pick and drop them off at the airport. Flights to and from Jubail to be arranged by the attendees.

​

Meals:

SW Academy will provide all meals as well as coffee, tea, and refreshments throughout the day. There will be an evening cultural event organized by SW Academy.

All attendees should use the student E-Visa option as we will be visiting sensitive sites.
